While scouring the net for info on how to remove throttle bodies i came across this pearl of a thread , these wankers are actually talking about spending 10k to get a HD thats only just capable of keeping up with a standard R3........

That will not happen, $10,000 will not do it. My ex brother in law spent over $12,000 on his Harley. He called me out, I spotted him 20+ bike lengths. I hit 3rd gear as I blew by him. By the time I hit 4th I shut the old 2005 Rocket down apx. 100 yds. in front

Now he has put a 30 something inch front wheel and tire and huge rear bags that darn near touch the ground....Useless as tits on a boar hog......no pun intended........LMAO

That played a big factor for me buying the Rocket III back in 2004-05 when i was about to put the Screaming Eagle System into my RK. If i recall it right i was only going to get about 10 more HP for a $5,000.00 upgrade.I guess inflation of 15 years has caught up with today's prices at $10-$12K..that's a sad state of affairs.

I ran the numbers on what it was going to cost to get 125 HP from my Harley and I ended up with a 2008 Rocket III. I've never looked back.
