Frustration Setting In !

Motohio Triumph in Columbus Oh. and Northern Ohio Triumph in Akron are first rate dealerships. These guys ride Triumphs, not just sell them.
Your problem sure sounds like a computer map problem. TuneECU is the way to go. It will unleash several horsepower.

I actually stopped at Gatto on the way home after picking up my bike at Mosites and tried to get a feel for them and this morning I made an appointment with them. I hope I feel a little better after they work on my bike! I am supposed to drop it off Monday morning and they said they will start working on it Monday. Already sounds better than the stealership that I bought it off of!!!!
Well I got a call from Gatto Triumph/Harley/Polaris/Yamaha/......... today and they are telling me the same thing, everything checked out on the computer and they rode it and seems to have good power!!! Evidently they never rode a Rocket because the way my bike is running right now it is nothing special. I don't think they realize that there is a car engine in the frame, so that when you crack the throttle it should not roll on with power, it should be like a slingshot. This is getting ridiculous!!!! I would assume that a 12 minute tune would probably not do anything for it. I need to get this thing straightened out so that I can quit being stressed out over it!!! This is driving me crazy!!! They said they could dyno tune it but I would have to buy a PCV before they could do anything. If they think that it runs fine now I don't think I have faith in them to dyno tune it either. Any suggestions?????

If anybody tells you they/you need to buy a PCV in order to tune your Rocket, immediately dump them and find a proper tuner!!!
How far are you from Berlin, NJ?

I wholeheartedly agree with "mport" above. Before I moved down to Florida 6 months ago, I live 5 minutes from Motohio in Columbus, OH. GREAT shop and those guys know their s*it!! I used to love just going in there and talking with them...

Bob Carpenter uses a PCV (and Tuneboy) in his packages.

Yes, but not sure what, thinking ignition timing

I be not too smart about all this tune stuff, but I do know that using Tune ECU, a PCV is not needed.
I have heard that in modified engines Tune ECU is limited in setting higher rev limits. :cautious:

Good tuners?? Not sure. I think a few weeks ago, one of the central FL guys said they knew how to drop new tunes in, but full blown tuners, no clue....If anyone has any suggestions on Florida tuners, I'm sure a few of us are all ears!!
