Look for one. It makes a pretty good difference from the cat.

I just sold one of the Triumph cat eliminator pipe a few weeks ago.

I have a complete Stay In Tune exhaust system available. It has the cat eliminator pipe they make. It looks like a rounded header pipe. I bet it flows very well.

Yep the Triumph one:
Has been out of production and availability from dealers for many years.

No he meant range as in how far between fill ups

Jay if you go with the k&n’s you will need to get a filter to cover the air intake temp sensor and one for the crank case vent, so you will need 5 filters.
If you go with the ramaire it will come with the extra crank case filter and the AIT sensor will plug into the back of the ramaire so it is a complete kit and fits under the claw easily.
If you have stock exhaust neither of those filters is going to improve performance much, if at all because it can only pull in as much as it can push out. The only benefit will be the convenience of not having the stock air system in the way.
Also if you make either change of filter system remember you will need to load the appropriate tune

Trying to insert the filter under the box is a female dog!
For 7+ years I have used a foam filter cut to fit the bottom of the box. Clean every season. No issues with oil, grime or rust on tools/metal parts carried inside.

Update went out early this morning to take Wendy's rear wheel off her bike to get a new tire to put in it
When I got it off I decided to try again on the air box and I'll be dam if it didn't just slide right together
When I get home from having a new tire put in Wendy rim then I'll try to tighten everything up and hopefully it will stay together
If it don't and u don't hear from me anymore that probably means I blew everything up

Jay do not under any circumstances put that stock air system back on, in fact, anyone who still has it installed listen very carefully, buy two pounds of high-quality TNT put the air system on top of the TNT then light the TNT
Part 2-Buy some K&N filters or ramair you will be glad you followed my instructions.

Sorry guys I forgot to add --stand back 200m before the explosion:D

Would this tune work for the Ramair combined with the shorty exhaust from British Legends? If so, what’s the best way to DIY, or should I have a shop do the tune?

mid you look in the tune resources you may find one for shorty exhaust, I don’t know.
If you can find some YouTube videos on running the tune onto your Ecu that would help you
