Had to pull it off to undo the throttle cable
Need to get it back together for the New year ride
If I switch to the k n filters what else will I have to do

Forget the K&N filters. You will need 2 extra small filters and you have to be creative as to where to put the airflow sensor.

Get the RamAir kit. RamAir gives you everthing you need in the kit to do it right. It comes with an extension wire for the airflow sensor and is pre-drilled for the proper placement of the sensor.

Look for one. It makes a pretty good difference from the cat.

I just sold one of the Triumph cat eliminator pipe a few weeks ago.

I have a complete Stay In Tune exhaust system available. It has the cat eliminator pipe they make. It looks like a rounded header pipe. I bet it flows very well.

Ramair and de-cat/better flow collector also gives you a sweet sound of a big engine pumping air. I love it (reminds me of an AC cobra) bub, bub ,bub ,bub
De-cat/better flow collector should come with ear plugs depending on pipe config. (my pipes are slashed, needed to add bits to quiet them down)

Ramair and de-cat/better flow collector makes the bike sound and feel like a 2.3 litre machine should. I have never heard anything as satisfying

there are a number of tunes, some very aggressive and some more balances. Another great thing a bout the rocket and this site. You can tune for your bike and your preferences.
