front fork seals

Yes it is as easy as it looks. You will however need an extra pair of hands and a 12 pack of beer of choice

I had to do mine solo when my buddy bailed on me. You'll need a long, stout screwdriver and two ratchet straps.

Can the springs be changed with the forks still on? It looks like one could but i can't tell for sure. Is there an easy way to do this?

I would think it would be done w/o pulling the forks, yea - prolly easier to do with forks still mounted
Right?

I'm not sure how you'd compress everything back with the forks still mounted. In any case, you'd probably still need to jack up the bike and remove the front tyre, at which point the forks just slid out after a quick loosening of the brackets. But...I'm sure someone on here knows a way...

Oh, that makes sense, I was only guessing. Haven't done it before (spoke too soon... AGAIN :banghead:)- Thanks for that heads up

Sure beats going to the dealer when you upgrade to Progressives! Removing/ installing the forks I found to be the easiest part. Cheers!

You can't change the springs on the bike you have to take them apart,I compressed and removed then refitted the standard springs on my own with the two tools and I mentioned earlier ,with the help of a broom handle in a vice with a piece of wire hooked to it to hold the damper rod up acting as a third hand but wether I could have done it with the progressive springs I don't know as I had my misses give me a hand that time.
