That bmw scooter
The bmw scooter above is a C1 I think.. since discontinued some years ago. However, people who have them, hang on to them.
Personally I wouldnt have one because they act like a sail when its windy (what, crap weather in the UK? as if!?)
BMW are now going to release an electric powered variant, called the E1 I believe - due to the massive rise of scooters in direct correlation to the traffic in England.
Also the UK Govt. just released project to roll our tens of thousands of charging points for electric vehicles throughout England.
Seeing as most journeys are under 20 miles in the UK, the range anxiety of people is a bit of a moot point with electric vehicles having ranges now of hundreds of miles - even the land speed record holder electric motorbike Mission 1 has a range of about 150 miles.. not too shabby!
Hmmm servicing a slow combustion engine, with fill ups of £20 every 100 miles or spending £0.05p to fill up something that never needs engine or oil servicing - and has 100% torque at any stage of revs.. and is quicker than petrol, like for like. Difficult one that

Good luck on the commute - rather you than me on the rocket in summer
Occasionally fine, but its overkill and not practical as a commuter.
But hey, its a new toy - I get that - and I have no doubt I will be like that for a little while too with my one.. But I must say, its just crap compared to a scooter on a like for like basis as a daily workhorse. That is not what it is designed for of course!
