Free unrestricted maps for Rocket R GT and TFC now online

Too weird. What version of Tuneecu are you running? If it’s 6.1, try installing 5.5.59.
 
Yes, it's the 6.1 version. I'll try the other one........

On his adjustment screen starting at 17:40, he scrolls up to get to the last one, the crank position sensor. Have you scrolled up all the way?

Well, I've tried 5.5.59 & it's the same, it seem that the file on TuneECU for Rocket TFC does not have that option in the Adjustments. But the bike in the video was an R or GT so the file on TuneECU obviously does. So I'm at a loss as to what to do now!!!!!!
 
I’m not convinced this has anything to do with the map. What map did you modify and load? Where did you buy the bike? US? Europe?

First thing, go to the Facebook Tuneecu for Android group page, join it, and IM Tom TomTom and run this by him. You could also just post your TFT issue and see if someone can help. You could also try to email the Tuneecu software developer Alain Fontaine (meeouf@gmail.com).

Next, can you find another triumph dealer? I think it’s bs that they won’t fix your bike whether you caused the problem or not. If you’re in the US, call the Triumph USA in Atlanta (888 284-6288).

Thank you for message, I'm in Ilminster Somerset England. I bought the bike locally. I am the second owner the original owner bought it through the dealer I spoke to yesterday, that's why I went with them for my mot & servicing, although as I mentioned I won't be going to them again. I modified Penners ETV3 page only, saved & loaded it to the ecu. I have also done what you have suggested in your second paragraph, I'm waiting for answers. I guess if TuneECU can't issue an update which incorporates the crankshaft sensor relearn issue, what alternative software to TuneECU is there out there? Do you have any recommendations?
 
So you loaded the Penner All Markets map for the TFC? The only other software I know of is Dealertool.co.uk. You could contact them and ask if this software can reset the CPS on a TFC.

Yes, I loaded the Penners All Market map for the TFC, it was the only option. I'll contact Dearlertool, see if they can help. Thank you for your help with all this, greatly appreciated.
 
This is kinda off the wall.
Sometimes when codes will not clear at my shop we will cycle the key on ignition and off three or four times a lot of times this will work.
Also it seems like the bike is running ok so we know that the crank sensor is working so you might try a couple of drive cycles.
This is what you do after you fix the problems with the code.
Start bike and let it warm for 5 minutes then drive 35 mph for 5 minutes then 55 for 5 minutes.
Of coarse this is what you do after the codes are cleared but if all else doesn't work it is something to try.
 
Thank you for your message & suggestions, I will try what you've suggested& see what happens. I guess disconnecting the battery wouldn't solve it, would it? That would be to easy, wouldn't it?
