If you search under resources at the top for the service manual, I think it gives instructions. Check this

Hi, thanks for replying. Unfortunately, I've checked & the service manual doesn't give the necessary instructions. Oh well, I'll just keep on searching the internet. It's a shame there's nobody out there who has done a video of this using TuneECU.

The video appears to do it. What’s the problem with that?

@Kirstyfrog41 Look at the video. He explains how to do it. Warm up the bike, hook up the dongle and the android device. Start the engine. Hit reset crankshaft and then give it full throttle when it tells you to and hold it. The engine will not race wildly. It will rev up and then go back to idle, rev up and go back to idle about four times. Hold the throttle wide open while doing this. Voilà, problem solved.

Is this on the adjustments page?

Thank you for your help, greatly appreciated, sorry for being an idiot.

No problem at all! Hell, at least you got your ECU mapped. I brought my spare key to the Dyno/tuner and the bike kept shutting off after about two minutes. We were stumped. Pro tip, use the key fob and save yourself a two hour plus round-trip to go get it.

I don’t know. I had read up a whole bunch on the Penner tune because I was worried about bricking my ECU and knew to click no/cancel when it got to that screen about resetting those values. What my smart self did NOT know was that using the little spare key that fits great in a pocket and runs the bike like a champ will NOT work for more than two minutes on auxiliary power, the up position on the starter switch. I was sooo relieved when I went and got my key fob and it worked like a champ.
