Yes, I purchased the app, registered the bike, and found the option to remove the speed limiter on it. What I am unsure of is how it actually works when I go through with it. Will it change the existing map on the bike? I want to put the Penner map on, but haven't done it yet. I want to make sure I don't spend the money to remove the speed limiter and then flash with the Penner map and undo what I spent the money on. I will contact the developer. Thanks!
You can’t read or do anything to the map in the ECU. You have to read in a map into the app, like the Penner tune for the USA GT, uncheck the speed limit under parameters, then download the map to the ECU. I don’t think you will be able to uncheck the speed limit box unless you pay more $$, according to Alain Fontaine (the app developer). If you can uncheck it, it may not “take”.
Ok. So I purchased the speed limit removal from within TuneEcu, and it comes attached to a stock map. Per the developer I now need to modify that map with the tables from Penner's tune to be able to use the the Penner map along with the speed limiter removed on the bike. I honestly have no idea which tables or how to copy the tables from Penner's map into the stock map. Anyone have any tips or ways to make this foolproof so I don't mess it up?

TuneECU has a function to export the tables, when you open the map the F1 table is displayed. You can tap on F1 and it pops up a list of tables to switch to. once you select a table under the Table menu is an export function. I can't find the post where Penner said which tables he'd modified (I think it is just F1-F3), but to be safe you could just export them all and import into the map without the speed limiter.
I will see if I can find the post that discusses the tables that were modified. I have someone who has offered to help as well. Thanks much for the response!

Did you get anywhere with the rev limit? Alain will now sell you a stock map with the speed limit removed. Perhaps he would do the same with the rev limit.
