its interesting to see the unrestricted tune for the 'R' model differs slightly in the fueling at the top end of throttle area from the GT. I know you cant load a GT tune into an R model and vicki vercoe...must be different ECU's?

I'm just down to the two bikes- the 2020 3R and the '11 Roadster. I had four bikes at one time crammed into a utility shed with literally inches between them. Had one gone over it would have been like dominoes...
I think in the past 10 years I've had nine bikes- Goldilocks syndrome. Three have been Rockets, most of the rest were Triumphs ('07 Bonneville, '98 Thunderbird Sport, Trophy, Speed Triple) and two Beamers - an R1150RT and then a R1200RT.

when a bike is down. Having two adds to the stress. On the other hand, two is the perfect number in that when one is down for repairs I can ride the other. Gotta ride or I'm cranky to be around 
The difference in the Penner R and GT maps (all markets) I downloaded from TuneECU.net is not at the high end. Below is a picture of the comparison of the F1 tables. The colored area is where the difference is. This makes no sense to me.
For the stock maps, there are no differences in any of the tables between the GT and R or between US and All Markets maps. They’re all the same.
For the Penner maps, there are differences between the All Markets and US maps. Especially the ETV tables in the GT all markets map. ETV1 should be rain (most restricted), ETV2 (road) and ETV3 (sport). In the Penner GT all markets map, ETV2 is the rain mode table. This is not the case with the Penner R all markets map.
There’s some weirdness with the Penner all markets maps, especially the GT.
Do you have a GT or R? Based on my comparisons, I’d have your mechanic take a close look at these all market Penner tunes.

agreed...just wondering why the R is more aggresive in the last 7 columns.
It has a more aggressive riding position? The touring model should be more sedate?
In the TFC all markets tune, Penner increases the fuel in the low and mid range on the main fuel tables (F) but didn’t change the L tables compared to stock. This shouldn’t matter because the F-L switch is at 4% throttle. There is also no change to the ignition tables compared to stock. So far this is similar to what he did in the all markets R map. Rain mode is the same as stock. Road mode is aggressive at near WOT and WOT (100% at 100% throttle) and sport mode is the most aggressive down to 14.7% throttle. The rev limit is 7500 for the TFT and you can get your mechanic to remove the speed limit assuming he has the professional version.
