Thank you for the answers. He did a Tune ECU on my other bike so I know he can do that stuff. I’ll find out if he has a license.

Do you have his tune?

It’s on TuneECU.net, triumph 3/4 cylinder maps, custom maps. You just have to choose the one for US and Canada, GT or R model. It’s a zip file. You have to unzip the .hex file map and get it on yours or his Android device.

Ok guys I think I’m ready. My warranty is up and I’m going to the shop for two new tires. I’d like to have my mechanic load the Penner tune for me. I have two questions.
1. what type of gains do I expect to get? Hp, tq?
2. can someone provide me a step by step set of direction for me to give to him to get this done? Hardware? Software? Sources?

That sounds great except for the time and costs involved. I just viewed Dougl's video and that got me even more worried. I thought the tune affected more than the first three gears. I was hoping to allow full fueling in the upper gears too and get rid of that fuel chop that occurs in the upper gears. I'm a bit less worried about the 147 mph speed limiter since that isd plenty fast around here in the mountains.

I haven´t seen that video, but
The map derestricts all gears.

And needless to say, I love it!

For the reset adapt, did you not get these screens?

There is an issue with resetting the cruise control but the instructions on TuneECU.fr are clear on how to reset it.
