The only problem with them squashing in is the amount off air flow they are stopping.
Those dirty big K@N filters don't have that chirping noise either.

I know you hate that chirping noise TC, you will just have to get some high comp pistons. Problem solvered and it will go heaps better to.

Go the uni filter's, cheaper and easier to clean I think. I have just expanded my bearclaw to suit them a little better, only the rear one squashes in very slightly. about 2 or so inches wider than stock..

If I expanded mine like that I wouldn't have the leg room to ride it. That green paint work is looking good.

Ok $2,000 for cams and pistons ..200+HP. What do you reckon labour would run out at for my bike considering it's got 130,000klms on it. Not sure what you feel would need to be renewed or replaced. Guess the option of buying a new Roadster and having the parts fitted .. truth is I'd get SFA for mine ... well it's all dollars and cents hey.

Thanks for getting back to me Nev. Always good to have an experts opinion on what's involved before barrelling into these projects. Appreciate your honest advice as always.

@warp9.9 just for you one more, I have a new build post about the whole thing on here somewhere, still working on the headlight mount and spottie mount's but on the road again soon.....
