Engine rebuild story... continued.

Are there parts you can substitute from your own original engine and biuild a decent one out of the two or is it ferked?

What I need is a good Head. That's really it. Once I start tearing this one apart, I'll list the known good parts I want to get rid of. I'm a bit of a pack rat, so it might be tough for me to let them go.

Pulled the damaged head. The valves look fine, the cylinders and pistons as well, though there is some burnt oil on the piston heads. I wiped one of them off to see. Haven't tried to turn it... somehow the exact socket I need to turn it is missing.
