Don’t want to start an oil war but does the new Rocket like 15/50?
 
I would use the weight recommendations from the owners manual. Use whatever brand that floats your boat. Just make sure the weight and type meet what Triumph designed the engine for.
 
Ya, I used 10/40 in the old rocket and had no issues. Cooler climate in the great white north so I didn’t know if I should switch out to a lighter weight or not.
 
Can’t recall what they put in my bike but they were waiting on it to arrive and they said it was specifically called for in the service manual.
 
There are no set percentages to the mixture of the blend in semi-synthetics I would go with full synthetic oil myself.
