End of Touring

I must be at a bad height because my full face blocks them if I just look down with out moving my head that was my grip with them is all
 

I really like my N104, but I can only wear it on the Rocket with a windshield, at high speeds the darn external sun visor flips down on it without a windshield, at least on my other bikes. I have a Shoei for the other bikes, but I still wear my Nolan on the Rocket.

Never had a problem seeing the dials? Try elevator shoes, Adam.

Yeah the visor (I presume you mean the outer visor) doesn't stay open at speed without a shield, but I want it closed anyway. It is the only way the helmet will ventilate perfectly, with the forehead vent out in the breeze. The helmet is cooler with the shield down than with it up.
 
No, I mean the external sun visor snaps down, a bit awkward, especially at night.
 
Aha, mine is a 102, 104s must have changed to an internal visor like my Shoei. .

cr0ft, I just got a pair of "Sliders" Kevlar jeans. I really like the fit and they be comfy as well.
Haven't tested their crash worthiness yet and hope never to.

Ahh, yes, the N104 (and now the new N104 Evo) has a superb internal spring-loaded visor; there's a slider on the left lower edge of the helmet that's easy to operate with gloves on. Saved my sanity on my trip through Norway - the nation is riddled with dark tunnels, and the shift from sun to tunnel was jarring. With the sun visor it was far easier - enter a tunnel, hit the release button and snick, the sun visor gets sucked up into the top of the helmet due to the spring loading. Coming out of the tunnel, reach up and slide your finger forward on the slider and snick, down it comes again. Nolan hit a home run on this helmet in my view.
