Electrical Gremlin Strikes Again

i did not see any speed sensors so i sort of discounted abs module.
but i have also seen in my shop where other modules would screw up the ecu's performance.

i guess i will go out on a limb and say it may be in the main harness connector under the tank

Okay, I've tried everything in the quoted post to no avail. No change in anything, so I guess I will start looking for corrosion. Once again, I really appreciate everybody putting in on this problem that I'm having, if we ever run into each other out there, I owe you a six pack.

@Speedy
I'm going to try to hunt down all of the grounds that you mentioned this evening, finally printed all the diagrams I could find at work today.

Since you’re sure it’s not the battery, but I still have to say 12.11 will not start the touring, the ground wire from the rectifier has burnt on mine before and sometimes would start and sometimes it wouldn’t, then the ground wire from rectifier to battery was found burnt and replaced, all good after finding this wire, from rectifier it is in loom maybe 14 inches worth then out to battery. I’ve reread post and haven’t seen this wire get checked, battery won’t charge correctly because sometimes it’s making contact then a bump and it’s not, but might as well check or even a new battery will give you fits if this is it.

Does it go to a connector just under the fuse box?

No, the ground wire from rectifier (the two wire plug at recitifier ) goes to battery, it’s the small wire on the ground cable at battery that has the little black plug, the red wire on that plug at rectifier goes to positive side of battery and also has a plug that comes off positive cable near battery.
