Have used beads in the last two darkside tires and no problems. Used ugly a$$ weights on the front and rear now and doing fine. ( Have a Bridgestone Max on the 05').

Norm, you need to go to Ride On website & look up the amount of sealant to put in each tire - 8oz is not enough, specially on the back tire.
On my Std I think I put 1 1/2 - 8oz bottles in front & 2 1/2 in the rear

Clint,
Great find! Gratitude!
I find 2 8zo for the 240/55R16 rear and one for the 140/75R17 front.
Reckon I may have to try this.
What about the mess when changing tires?

I always get my tyres from a localish place that only sells tyres. The current boss (Victor) is my age and rides alot. His dad, now over 80, is often there and has been doing tyres since he was 14.

They have tried beads and sealant and gave me the following.

Sealant - is for sealing and whilst it makes their life messy - they understand and are fine with it.

But in their experience neither sealant or beads are a replacement for a proper knife edge balance esp on sports bikes.

They have not flat outright said they won't do beads - but They thus imply and I thus infer it is so.

Big tourers - Balance and seal if you so wish. They charge €20 for fitting which I am happy to pay.

They do work, there are associated reports of unbalanced feeling at low speeds that goes away as the speed picks up and they distribute in the tire though.

I know there is also a company in the USA that does some balancer plates using the "bead" idea that bolt in behind the brake discs - They make them available for Harley though really it's more an industrial thing. Can't for the life of me remember the name.

Steve, tried this product because Morris said he uses it in every vehicle he owns, including tractors. He buys it in large drum quantity. He suggests following the dosage chart to the heavy use side. So I put in the max amount. I started using it after I had 3 flats on a new Exedra max in a 3 month span & had to trash that tire
