My tune ecu cable got misplaced and I have another on order....The CEL was a loose vac hose giving a P1105 code which I cleared...Now no codes...Just the dobeck lights sweeping constantly and I think the BIke is bypassing the Dobeck as there is some sort of a prob. You did the AFR+? Does it matter which wire goes to which injector eg 1 -2-3..Dobeck says no...Hard to believe that.
To echo a previous post, it doesn't matter which set of injector cables go to which injector. On my AFR+ one set were a little shorter than the other two so I connected that one to #3 cylinder. It does sound like you have a duff AFR+ controller and/or gauge (the guage has some clever stuff in it, too).
I concur as it operated when first installed for 15 min then again the next day when Brent had me adjusting the ide in green to 13 then it would swing back to 11.9 after the allotted time. I have vid from yesterday where it just maxes out at 16 and flashes blue green. @Mark Dunn what intake are you running? If DP tells me to put the stock back on before they will send me a new unit...I am getting a refund and buying a PCV and AT......I have to thank Bill again as he has been most helpful-as well as all of you guys. Here is the ECU cable I have rush ordered from Amazon......It allegedly has TuneECU drivers installed? LMK if the cable is a PO$...one Rocket owner bave it 5 stars so it will probably work....Do you guys know of a fuel map best suited for the RAMAIR with Stock exhaust?
Your expertise will be appreciated so I can at least ride this with the DP disconnected with a proper RAMAIR map on there and with the fan cut on at lower temp etc...
Also, I mentioned in another thread a few weeks ago that I have a rich idle. I believe it's due to the aftermarket controllers not being allowed to alter the idle area of the fuel map. Changing the base map via Tune ECU should fix it, but I'm working on where to apply that fix. I'll let you know what happens.
