Daymaker Type Headlights (Chinese Copies)

So then these LED sare NOT actually Daymakers?
No they are made on China, so they would be clones, but as said above a lot of things are made there and packaged or assembled in another country and are not listed as made in China, just the country that packaged or assembled them. I have used lot of cheap hid lights in my off road 4x4s for years and they have alway been fine. So I can't see why these would be any different, especially now Les has them and looked at the quality and seen how bright hey are, so a big thanks to Les @ozrider for being the Guinea pig and trying them out for us who don't have the coin to send on the genuine ones
Cheers Pete

Agreed, please keep us all posted regarding their longevity.
I am displeased that they misuse the Harley Daymaker name to mislead buyers.

Have had a look at these and quality looks fine.
Truth be known they are probably made in the same factory as HD gets theirs made.

All manufacturers are looking for the cheapest labor costs

I don't think so.
The JW Speaker factory is in Germantown, Wisconsin.

I stand corrected.
Ya gotta wonder how innovators - designers - manufacturers can stay in business at this level.
I know who I would rather support but the cost difference speaks rather loudly...

And @DEosse it was just an example of out sourcing of labor and branding

What does a Docking Kit - Detach Docking Hardware Kit - have to do with LED headlights?

Very similar to the ones i'm in the process of fitting. They're available from Furore products furoreproducts.co.uk in the UK. There is a little filing and cutting of the inner register ring and no need for the CANBUS driver on the Rocket three roadster. Way cheaper than the Harley's will keep you posted when I've done them. On the back burner at the moment due to work getting in the way :(

Small question: Do these headlights have a "E-Number" so we can use in Switzerland or Germany or this some China-made stuff that will make the guy in the MOT/TÜV revolt?
