Daymaker Type Headlights (Chinese Copies)

I have had enough hassle with cheap parts over the last few years that I am more that willing to pay a bit more for something I can be sure will do what I require. 2 years ago it took me nearly 3 hours to fit a set of brake shoes on my old landy, then then shrieked and pulled to the side. Investigation showed that the left and right hand shoes were different, and the right hand side weren't even the same diameter as the drum. Fitted a new set of Britpart shoes last month after one of the wheel cylinders decided it didn't want to keep the fluid inside any more, and they just slotted straight in and work excellently. My time is to valuable to waste over the sake of 10 bucks in parts.

Besides, when it comes to lights and the like, over here, the police get very agitated and start righting out eye watering fines if they are not CE marked.

so far all good, no melted wires, blowen headlight units or fuses

Yesterday I bought two for $116 Australian (US$84.70) each shipped to Australia. They appear to match the Daymaker Australia 50w highbeam 30w lowbeam 5.75" version. Yes, another clone of the HD branded stuff, although he openly sources his stuff from China and provides good detail in listings on eBay and Gumtree. He seems to charge about 200% + on AliExpress prices - $275 Australian each ( US$200.00 )
Premium Harley or Triumph 5 3/4" LED Projector Headlight suit most 5 3/4" Black

His H4 bike bulbs in various grades seem good but he charges up to 400% more than identical stuff from his own supplier I found online at a couple of sites. Everyone has to eat I guess.

The trick to get free shipping is to buy one at a time and select ************** or mainland China International shipping - I went HK. As soon as you update to two in same order it defaults to $50+ International Global shipping!

Scroll down in link to the video - I just did for first time.

They have confirmed shipment today, so in a few weeks I shall be able to comment. AliExpress ( not the seller ) does provide a money back guarantee of delivery and quality but that would have to be tested which I hope will not be me! This is my first AliExpress purchase after 5000+ on eBay over the years.

OK after 6 pages of posts, does anyone have any results on the performance of these knock off daymaker bulbs?? Would appreciate any replies, was thinking of buying them.

I know some will shame me............... Don't give a RAT's ass (get it?)

Chrome 5.75 5 3/4 Motorcycle Projector LED Light Bulb Headlight For Harley Day

Genssi brand seems to be a reputable brand - Mine work GREAT (much better than OEM) - No, they're not as bright as J.W. Speaker Daymaker, real McCoy's. But really f'n bright!
If I spent $700 + on headlamps I would have to quit riding in daytime to justify it.............
IMO, If you just ride at night some, go with these. (You know, it's ok to go slower at night too)
If you ride a ton at night - Or ton up at night - Shell out the Dough

ET3 did you have to use the canbus adapter with your installation ? If so where did you put it ?
The Genssi look just like the Sunpie units. Are they the same with just different names ?
