Neither have I or @Claviger , with Chinese 50w Hibeam with great cutoff on hi and lo beam for less than a 1/4 the price of Speaker USA. Angel light ring to be used as either blinkers, strobe or running light in amber or running light or parking light in white. Yeahh, ya get what ya pay for, but ya can pay far less
 
This is the kit, I removed the sockets and cut the old headlight looms and soldered them together. EBay item. 360461543240
 
You can but I would not trade my Daymakers for anything else. Best overall improvement I have made so far.

The ebay link didn't work. You put the relay on the wires for the brights? Mine has the same problem.
 
It is plug and play, but I cut the loom and removed the plug on new cable and joined it, on the new connection to lights I popped open the connection box removed the wires to pop them through the headlights bowl and then Re fitted the wires as they were. all good, I discarded the half of the original looms that plugged onto the lamps. Soldered the joints and insulated with self amalgamation tape. Job done.
