Could it be true?

Exactly the same announcement timeframe I was given, spring dealers meeting in 2019 with a 2020 bike release.

I dont understand the desire to make cruisers look like upright ****** rockets

From just a gander at your avatar, I can solve your question . . . in four letters!
Y-U-T-E !!!

I would yet be on a sport bike if my aged body was as flexible these days as it was, even in my 40's!!!

The rocket hasn't been marketed as a cruiser since the roadster was released, it's a jumbo naked standard.

AMEN. Though my lower back was thoroughly beaten up by a Laverda 35 years ago - and I would have to use Flat bars rather than clip-ons.
Just found a Laverda Montjuic in Spain legally - but they want absolutely silly money and it's not an S2 or even complete. Bugger!.

Sad to say I am old enough to remember the Laverda.
Back in the 60's & 70's they were considered pretty much POSs over here.
First decent spaggetti motors I remember were the Ducatti & Aermacchi.

I once had an Aermacchi Harley! Bought it brand new! 250cc dirt/street bike

Oh #ell had one like that back in the day. Sisters got bikes I got one like that. Loved it. To this day believe that is why i got into motorcycles. Use to Push the Dam$ thing up a big hill and ride her down fast. Very fast.
