Chirping Crickets after Ramair, Hate them CRICKETS!

Hope you take it as humor I just googled Topless Australian Beach Bunnies And she popped up in the crowd of blazing hunnies :)
Beaches Scott not b1tches:cool:

It is my belief that is is an inlet resonance. A stock well tuned bike will do it, yes with good fuel. I'm quite certain one bike I spent some hours on with the noise was definately not pinging. I've found that very few bikes with cams/headwork etc do this noise. All this has been said before as well , but hey, I am pretty **** lazy on the search button too. :).

I had no luck getting rid of the "chirping" until I fitted Les's Ozclaw. Had mine dyno tuned by Fred, even melted bitumen sheeting onto the inside of the stock claw. Know when I had Ponters bike for a few weeks it didn't "chirp" at all .. Donny's on the other hand (with a Carpenter profile cam and stock pistons) was even noisier than mine.

Rikki :cool: .. my advice was just that .. advice ,take it or leave it I really couldn't give a f#ck. The fact you are getting ignored by Members should indicate who has the problem.

Already told him that was the cheapest and quickest not to mention the best looking way of doing it
I just like to Clarify that the above post was in reference to my "conversation" with the OP*, I also mentioned to him about Lushies Cams being the only other way that I know of to get rid of the chirping Crickets

* OP being @Lifelong Biker

Cranky? Who's f*ckn cranky? I can show you cranky if you want. :roll:

In response to a less than subtle dig from @Steel , I posted a reminder about time zones and the diversity we have here.

Funny, I don't remember mentioning your name.:rolleyes: But if the mention of being less than friendly makes you feel guilty, you might want to examine whatever inside yourself made you feel that way. Maybe it's the cold weather not allowing you to get some 2 wheel therapy, or maybe you just need a Snickers bar.:D

Tommy boy, what advice was that? I asked you a question that you did not respond to. I never received any advice from you. Are you mistaken or forgetting?

Tomcat, I am not being a smartass. Just making a point. If you read through the thread you will see that I asked a specific question to a specific person and did not got a response. However I did get a response from lostride that did not answer the question. But as you can see some other forum members including Aussies had no issue sharing good valuable information. So maybe the trap that needs to be shut isn't mine after all. Perhaps the three amigos that tend to be the least easy to deal with need to take some happy pills once in a while and get over their selves. I have found everyone on this forum to be gracious

with their information with the exception of the three amigos. In fact I think I have you guys figured out. Tomcat= Oscar, Lost ride=Statler, Cranberra=Waldorf. One Grumpy old prick, and two bitter old guys all 3 with nothing good to say. So I hope all this helps and it gets things to improve outta site. Thanks for your input.
Amen to that!!!

I have tried high octane fuel. No difference, I definately don't want to tear a good running engine apart. To do Pistons and cams, also don't have the money. Of course fast is awesome, but come on guys. I can't see anyone riding their rockets to their limits. I've been riding for 40 years so I have a lot of experience And can't push this bike to its max sustained. I'm sure the oz claw will help, but its little too exspensive. Once again thanks everyone for their input. and HansO for taking the time to help. It's weird but out of all the motorcycles I've owned I love my Rocket Roadster!!
