Carpenter Stage 1

lets hope so.
i did tors, triple k and n, cross over pipe, and tune and im sitting at 150/150.
id be calling carpenter racing and tell him whats going on and see what he says.
good luck with the tune and hopefully it clears up any issues.

Why call Bob he did not do the install?
Del"s Performance in Indiana got 214 hp out of the one they did with a homade pipe!!!

The real problem here is a proctoligist was used when a Neuro Surgeon was needed.

When I picked up the bike from the shop initially they told me carp credited them 500 bucks for the spun cam, for whatever that is worth since as my shop said carp did something wrong. I didn't ask for more details though. I think the shop did a decent job, sh*t happens; I know carp would have done a better one though since it is what they do all day. Was never my intention to lay any sort of blame because I wasn't angry.

After the tune today, 180hp and bit under 150ft/lb keeping in mind that dyno's vary. For having stock headers and such I am pleased. Perhaps this winter I will look into Jardine system, but I have a 66 427 vette getting engine work and I am done spending money on the bike for a while! Besides, I have only 1200 miles on this bike and it's time for some riding. The tune fixed the low/mid RPM trouble totally. I don't have to ride the clutch to 2k leaving the light or downshift below 2k. HP is above 150 from 5k to 7500 (all the higher I had them go) and tq increased between 10-20ft/lb between the entire range but the largest gain was 2-3.5k thank goodness.

I will be sure to update after the install and dyno tune next week. I also picked up some black progressive 440's and the flyscreen. On these long open Iowa highways the rocket likes to be around 120, but even tucked my neck takes a beating. The flyscreen sounds like it will be perfect for tucking in at high speed.

Jardines on back order, hopefully get them in and tuned in a few weeks as I am off to Maine next week. Will report back when tuned. And black progressive shocks look waaay cool.

My Jardines were backordered too, from British Customs, but they shipped about 8-10 days later, approximately.

Yep, same place. They shipped today so I should be able to get everything done right when I get back from Maine. Hopefully have some great riding weather!

It will be interesting to see the difference in power with the Jardines vs the TORs.
