Most captains Iv seen that play in the 160+mph area have adapted some sort of steering damper, none bolt straight on.

Generally the big power guys have some form of aftermarket shocks, Ikon, progressive, Werks, ohlins, wilbers and quite a few have front end work ranging from just heavier oil to full on internal cartridge conversions. For the front, Traxx, Ohlins, racetek for conversions and progressive and wilber for springs.

Never had any tankslapper issues. So the 7K apparently can't be overridden?

my 465 lbs toy likes to lift up around 8k in almost every gear and there was this 1 time when I wasn't ready for it and it touched down with a wobble, just made think of you guys.

465 lbs rules out your Rocket and your Schwinn?

YEP rode one of those I call them pogo sticks

465lb, there a **** ton of bikes around that, but only a couple that are wheelie monsters stock.

S1000RR
KTM Super Duke 1290
Tuono 1100
'16 Speed.Triple R

Can think of any others that weight that are super wheelie prone.

EDIT:None of them will outrun a Carpenter Rocket though....lol.

7K limit is us waiting on Tuneboy software to be revised. The working 7K livetune was released only a couple months ago, so we may get the 9K tune soonish.

Letters and emails to Tuneboy asking for the 9k tune soon would emphasis it more....

If I was getting a Carpenter kit I would get the same as Tripps has because it looks like it stays true to the power curve of the stock R3 just more.

So what would the theoretical top speed of a 7k limit bike be? Would it still be capable of the 170 to 180 mph range? Idk why anyone would need to go that fast on top of 800lbs, but I'd try it at least once lol!
