Carpenter Questions

Well I did order the Carpenter headers and got the ecu flashed by them. I am supposed to get the stuff on Friday. Very excited about getting them installed and seeing how much of a difference it will make. For two grand I hope so lol.
Oh yeah, you will feel a lot of difference!

I'd sure like to know also. Are you going to measure it on a dyno before and after? What air intake system are you using with this setup? If you post a video file of the bike running I'd watch it. Thanks.
 
I can tell you that the numbers will be:
12Xwhp before 15xlb-ft
16xwhp after 16xlb-ft

It’s a known quantity as far as power goes. For intake side I’d suggest Ramair or K&N 1770. Both tested back to back without even Un-trapping the bike vs no filter on a 190whp Rocket... less than 1whp difference between them.

+40 hp on a pipe, a Air cleaner and tune?? Dang that's quite a bit. The stock motor must be choked to death.:mad:
 
It is, very much so. I can’t think of any other vehicle car, truck, or bike that has such a high % gain from just headers/flash. It’s crazy, but great for owners :)

Actually I'd favor the Tq over the Hp if i had to choose. I do see a greater increase in the hp though can you tell me why a lesser percentage gain of Tq?
