Bypass main dealer servicing UK?

I've just booked in for my first service next week. If it wasn't for the fact that they hadn't fitted €2.5k worth of accessories on collection I wouldn't be going back. It'll be my last visit

Has anyone bypassed main dealer service (including running in) from new in the UK?
I've skipped all of them and have done all the servicing myself, including swapping some valve shims at 20K. The only thing I remember hearing that you need to do is to document the scheduled oil change so as not to void the warranty. I'd look for further confirmation, but I believe that this is correct.

I think Triumph UK are not keen on honouring the Warranty if not Serviced at main dealer?

Well I'll be having that chat on Friday week when I'm in for my first service. The way they carried out the PDI on my bike they can't be thrusted to pump the tyres

Same problem here. Dealer did the PDI, went over the checklist with me, and I signed confirming they went over the checklist with me. They bring the bike out to the parking lot and I install my FOBO tire sensors and both tires are more than 10psi low. Back into the service area and let them know the situation only for them to look at me and ask, are you sure they are low? I cooly reply, I can show you on an analoug sensor as well. So they reluctantly took the bike back and checked the pressure…hmm, you’re right was the response. I question if the rest of the checks were actually done…hopefully this isn’t a common experience.
