Rocket Touring
Bridgestones are fine on the R3...Not the R3T(which is this forum!!)..the torque caused tire degradation(breaking up on the inside) and were replaced on the 08 models and all subsequent R3T have Metzlers installed at the factory.Triumph issued me a new owners manual with Metzlers as recommended factory tires and asked me to destroy the original manual which stated that the recomended tire was a Bridgestone Exedra(oem).The R3T rear tire is an 180..substantualy smaller than the 240 posted earlier that is mounted on a Rocket Standard.I personally would wish that the Standard owners would not post info on this forum which misinforms riders and leads to confusion as to what is safe and acceptable.Thanks and Safe rideing!!
