Brake light adjustment question.

Good day everyone - I have an issue with the brake light not coming on when using the foot pedal. In order for the light to come on I have to push the pedal to the point it almost locks up the back wheel. When I use the hand brake the light comes on instantly as one would expect it to.
I was hoping I would be able to adjust a switch the pedal activates, but I don't see a switch that can be adjusted.
I found an electrical connection behind the passenger foot rest cover where the junction for brake lines meet.
So I am thinking the electrical connection is a pressure switch that is activated by fluid pressure while pressing the foot pedal.

Am I correct and can this be adjusted some how?

Not sure if it can be adjusted but it is located behind the rear brake master cylinder, follow your brake line and you will see it,

It may need some lube of some type or a good cleaning.

So I found it's a pressure switch with no adjustment capabilities .
I'll swap it out and see if it is better.

switches like that tend to go bad a replacement should fix the problem.

Looks like the same kind of pressure switch I replaced on my ex-Harley. Be fast and you don´t even have to bleed the brake.

In my case the same switch was used on several cars so I went to a local auto part store and got for alot less (only a few €) than I would have had to pay for the original Harley part.
