Always ran premium on my two older Rockets and on this one. I just filled up with regular and Friday I will go for a cruise. If it runs the same or better I will stay with regular. The price of gas in my area is $5.00 and $4.79 I believe for regular. I can't wait for our next tax hike coming very soon.

I've always got lucky and bought batteries that have the click click warning system to say there's no volts left so drive to work and get a new bike battery on the way home. Yuasa in particular have perfected this system

I’ve gone through a few Yausa batteries. (Undoubtedly spelled that wrong lol). Mostly because I was either to lazy to store the properly, or I had no low voltage tenders on them during storage months. I definitely, DEFINITELY, found that the YAUSA higher capacity battery lasted much longer. This will be the first storage season that I’ve directly hooked the battery tender jr up to both bikes, and my truck( with a severe negative battery drain affliction). Guess we’ll see.
The battery in my new Rocket had a bad cell. I may or may not have been able to get the dealer to replace it, but decided it wasn't worth it.
I replaced it with a Motobatt MHTX16 hybrid. Supposedly has the benefits of lithium without the downsides - including being able to charge it with a normal battery charger. Only been a few weeks since, but so far so good...
