Dear Triumph, if you would put automatic compression releases on the Rocket, I would buy another one.

It is not high trapped compression that is the problem, it is a small capacity starter.

Right and would be just right for spinning the motor with no comp.
The Yamaha Raider 1900 ccs spins great with a 600 cc size battery.
Guess the blokes don't figure they can enginer it.

just spoke to Wayne on another matter and asked about the different starter mottor he is working out a price including shipping as I type he also mentioned that as far as top end battery s go the Deka and the Scorp are both great.
I just can't believe the price difference between here and the states, I mean we are closer to China than the States yet pay nearly three times the price, I nnow that the shipping cost has got something to do with it because the shocks Wayne sent me cost $76 to Auss but to send them back is ........ wait for it ........$215 I think when it comes time to change batteries I will be looking at Importing Again

50 bucks to send the starter down under. Wayne had to pay 76 for the shocks because its considered a oversize package. The starter will fit in their flat rate box= under 20 lbs 50 bucks. At least thats what it cost to send it to Pedro. Not sure if the price changes depending on where in Oz it goes.
