Avon Cobras, Bridgestone Excedra Max "V" or combination?

Old Thread I know... but when I had my Thunderbird I tried Bridgestone and then Cobra's. I felt the Cobra's gripped better overall (or at least it gave me more confidence) so when I changed the tires on my R3T I went straigt to Cobra's. I understand the tradeoff for the better grip was less mileage...and I'm okay with that. What did you decide?

Cobra offers less grip than the Bridgestone Exedra Max on my R3R but the cobra as I understand it will last longer - but not when I have one installed cos it breaks tracking on my R3R just on acceleration only where as the Bridgestone does not.
