After having a think i followed the lines around the map............
It would probally look better if the "Hervey Bay" writing was thicker and the R 3 in the Triangle needs to be the same style as my drawing, it is significant other wise it looks great I'll even let you off for using a black Rocket in your picture cos you used the right colour in the RDU, Cheers Hans,
sorry I didn't have time to comment reply last night as I was going to work

As per your instructions Sir.......

i got a pm today asking me to do this one, so here it is ......i suppose its good to have a selection

Thanks Benny.
Pretty close to what I had in mind. Should of had QLD on it somewhere as well.
Have to admit. I pinched a lot of Hanso's idea's to do this. Was really just throwing up an alternative approach.
Lookin at it, maybe I shoulda asked for the year on the left and the State/location on right
Only reason I say that is cos then it would be closer to where it is being held at.
Probably doesn't really matter and it still gets the idea across and future years it would have to change around anyway.

My thoughts when I asked Cheeky Greeky to do this one for me were;
Use a proper map of Australia with the flag in it. It's instantly recognisable as Australia even from 20 metres away.
And the flag, well why not I reckon. I'm Aussie and I'm proud of it. Tell the whole world I reckon.

The star with "1st" (in this case) in it is placed where the event is being held at.
Next year it's easy to alter. Move the star, change the number, year and location.

Just another option/opinion. What do you's think???

Also thought about using the Aussie map with no flag in it,
or the Aussie flag like it's blowin in the wind. Dunno about that one tho.

That a Nice take on same Idea, good to see the R3 more acurately done how about with the abstract out line and as Cobba said swap Hervey Bay on to the other side with QLD underneath and the same blue all the way through
the star was always going to bethe location of the event My only cocern is that when get into double digits you won't see the star for the number, also just a thought but somewhere it would be nice to say "Aussie Muster"

Maybe drop the star and just have the number
Still has the same effect of showing the location.
Could actually make the number a tad bigger that way too.
