I'm just hoping (expecting) that you 'locals' will map out the best hastle free, scenic and enjoyable route. From what I gather, TC is ideally qualified to advise on anything to do with rooting - and I'm sure a few of you others are too............:D

The summerland way from Kyogle to Woodenbong is a very good open flowing road but from Woodenbong to Legume it's rough as guts for 40k. With Rocket rear shockies it gives your back a work out. Not trying to tell any one what to do just giving you a heads up on a road I know well. 110k from Kyogle to QLD border near Killarney will take over an hour and a half with no stops

Doesn't seem to be a lot of options on it really.
It's Tomcat route or thru the suburbs from what I can see.

just suggestion, not sure how it is going to effect the vic'y guys but they could be waiting at Goulburn after their day one then Richard and Kiwi would also meet up and make thier way to Goulburn where I will meet them all then up to just before sydney slip thru the western burbs onto the freeway and end the day at Gloucester, day 2 (nsw) 3(vic) would see us all in Warwick via the New England hwy, day3 (nsw) 4(vic) would see us in Hervey Bay, the guys coming dow from Qld could meet at Gloucester and that would give a decent run. as I said just a suggestion

Guaranteed, with Tomcat, Mitch and others from South east Queensland bring you all around the back to bypass Brisbane are in for treat. I assure you some of the best Queensland rides are in their home turf.

I say inland too the highway sucks goats arse

Inland might be the shortest route but you're in for a sore arse too bloody boring, to bloody straight. When I travel inland. I like to take my chances and move at a rapid pace to get it over and done with ASAP.:D

Straight through to Warwick and not going to Grafton makes better sense if we're staying inland. But instead of Gloucester on the first night, why not somewhere between Muswellbrook and Tamworth, then on to Warwick the next day.

Or we stay on the coast and spend the night at somewhere around Forster then up through Port Maquarie and Coffs Harbour to Grafton and then up the HB via TC's route on the last day.

If Kiwi's going I'll ride with him to Goulburn up through Bungenore and Tarago. If he's not, I'll shoot across to Yass and join up with Cobba etc there and meet up with Hanso in Goulburn that way. Only thing is that from Yass (or before Yass actually) it's a pretty good run stright up through Cowra, Dubbo, Coonabarabran and Gunnedah to Tamworth. They might prefer that route.

Ok this is what I was thinking of last night before going to work with the adition of Inaugaral Muster which I pinched from Mrs Marty and I'm thinking that every year after this you simply put the asterex in the area of the venue also after the first one replace the word "Inaugaral" with "Annual" for future years

any more thought on the patch does some one know a local patch maker if every body likes the one in post #120 if you like I can see about it or if someone has contacts?

I dont mind which way u guys wanna go its all just another adventure to me ill ride where ever u guys want .
as TC said its a long way off yet
but if you guys miss grafton and go straight to warrick i will meet u there instead.
either way im not riding nearly as far as u guys so its gotta tick all the boxes for u guys first:cool:
Im a south aussie import so im sure TC and aussie bruce and co know the roads up here far better than this whipper snapper so i am happy to follow their direction no problem not to mention they would have been riding long before i was even a glimmer in the old mans eye:cool:

If you guys give me a design you're all happy with there is a local lady in Queensland that does heaps of patches for riders.

This is her email and web site HARLEYRIAs BIKER PATCHES

Who would like to volunteer to organise the patches?????
probally the first question is how many people are coming up there, the patch makers usally require a minimum of 50 and how are we going to work out how they are paid for, are bought by the individual or will someone sponsor them?
