Ok this is what I was thinking of last night before going to work with the adition of Inaugaral Muster which I pinched from Mrs Marty and I'm thinking that every year after this you simply put the asterex in the area of the venue also after the first one replace the word "Inaugaral" with "Annual" for future years

Trim down and stretch out the size of "RDU" and also the location.

Put the R3owners logo in the middle and make it stand out more.

Exhange 'inaugural' for 1st Annual, or drop the "1st" on the left side of it.
I can see that the inaugural was an afterthought but as it is, it's doubling up on a statement.

I see a star on the right side, and I like it.
Lets be Aussies and proud of it and base the whole thing over the Union Jack and 6 stars.
Tri colour map of Oz in flag pattern with white border and writing over the top of it all. Would really stand out, eh

I'm no good at photoshop but when my youngen gets home I'll get him to have a bash at it for me on his computer.

Yeah, my front door to Boat club in Urangan is coming up as 1956k’s via Newell or 2150 via Pacific…

1) At this stage, I’m thinking of heading off on Wed morning Leaving Melbourne up Hume to Wadonga, then up the Olympic to Wagga Wagga and up Newell to Forbes for the night.

About 690k for day 1.

2) Maybe meet up with Cobba in Forbes Thursday morn and ride through to Moree.

About 540k from Forbes to Moree via Newell for Day 2.

3) Head up Newell, join Leichhardt etc going through Goondiwindi, Dalby, nanango, Maryborough, Hervey Bay.

Maybe TOMCAT can come across to Goondiwindi to join up.

This is about 680-700 odd k’s for day 3.

Now all that said, I normally Fly (literally, as in, by plane) over all this so other suggestions are welcome… just following google maps entering 2 night stay with Forbes and Moree as destinations as per Cobba’s thoughts.
Not fussed on Goondiwindi or Moree for that matter, grew up between Moree and Warialda . Now i'm not racist :roll:but prefer not to overnite in town with large non-reflective populations , i just don't sleep well !!!

Know where you're comin from here.
My original thoughts were to stay out of town a bit at the Gwydir Caravan park rather than in town. Don't know if it's much better to be honest, but seemed pretty good the time I stayed there.
Only reason I was headin there was cos of the mineral spring pools they've got there.
Bloody relaxing after a long day in the saddle.

OK.
If you and Hanso are talkin about taggin up around Grafton, maybe we should divert off the Newell and see if we can make it closer to that erea for the Thursday night too.
The more we can gather together for the last nights camp the better I reckon.

I might revise my departure to being on the Wednesday Arvo and catch up with Ponters and whoever else comes thru on their way North.
It really is a much more enjoyable ride following the Great Dividing range along the New England Hwy anyway.

I'm taking all of Wednesday off to clean and pack the bike and gear anyway so why not make a few miles as well.

Hey Ponters.
Speak up if I'm pushin it too far for ya buddy but have a look at this for a revised trip plan.

Kick off (for you) Melbourne.
Bathurst. 780Ks
Grafton. 770Ks
Hervey bay. 612Ks
Maybe a bit further depending on the last route.

All and any wanting to group up could aim for Grafton on the Thursday night and ride thru from there with Tomcat and Mitch leading us on a diversion avoiding the Metropolis of Brisbane/Gold coast/ Sunshine coast.

I think you need to keep the lettering big and bold or it becomes hard to read I prefered just 1st Annual but inaugural was as you say and addin, and yeah I thought putting the star in the location of the event was a good Idea originaly I was thinking of the putting the whole shebang over a Flag but then decided it would make it to busy and having shape of the patch in the shape of Auss would make it stand out more and say look at me, we could look at using the flag as a back groun but again I think it would make it to busy

Had the kids have a go at doing it up for me.
You're right. I picked a logo off Google images of an Aussie map with flag in it.
Was too hard to see properly but did look good.

Sorry Hanso. Didn't pick up on your point with the star the first time. See what you're gettin at now.
