Apes anyone?

Hi, I have 12" ape bars on my tourer and i like the bit more upright riding position

Have thought a set of bars about the same height as the old US spec 750 Bonnies had would be pretty neat on a Rocket. They'd be about 12 inches I reckon.

I think shorter ones would be fine but with this bikes size and muscle the stupid tall ones will be even stupider. That said I had an old bonnie with apes just below shoulder height and it was suprisingly comfortable, enough that I never botherred to swap the bars.

Another negative on ape hangers; they don't belong on Triumphs. Triumphs are bikes engineered to be ridden.

It being your bike, I expect you can do whatever the hell you want. I'm not a fan of the super tall ones but hey it's your machine, make it comfortable for you.

I haven't considered them because I think they look miserable if they're very tall and they've got to be a ***** to handle, especially considering the weight of the bike.
