20 inch apes on my roadster, I am 6'4" so they are shoulder height for me,

I just finished 12" Kustom Khrome Springer Softtail Apes on my R3T with the Rivco Risers. Had to get 4 inch longer brake cable made from Spiegler Brakes and all the cables lengthened. 4" Throttle, 9" Clutch from Barnett Clutch. And yes, Barnett messed the cables up just as they have for others. They sent 2" longer Throttle and 7" longer Clutch. I'm going to try and use them anyway. See pics.

I have 18" apes on my other cruiser and LOVE them!
However, my V2K is NOT as good a handler as my Roadster, so it shall NOT have apes.
I think it is worth a try on a R3T if not too tall. I kept mine so that my hands rest below my shoulders.

How the heck can you run darkside yet bad mouth apes?
I find that hypocritical. :p

Just as well we all have our own opinion .having a beer or two when I go out for a ride has alway been and always will be a part of my ride and the only way I would change is if they out lawed it . There are rules and regulations for a reason , and if you stay with in those rules you should remain safe , if you go out side the rules there will be consequences , it works for me:bch
I drink beer almost every everyday, 2 beers after work except when I am riding. I never drink when I am on the bike. I just don't trust being too relaxed and "confident" (in the Dutch Courage way) riding my Rocket. I have to curb my enthusiasm stone cold sober let alone after a couple of beers.
I might sound like I am not enjoying life to the fullest, but I want to keep on enjoying life to the extent I do. Each to their own I suppose, but it is not for me.
