Good luck, Iwent the Stains cos I wanted the three pipes that with the Headers by Sam it goes like a scolded Cat on steriods and sounds friggin awesome when you nail it, Talk to Mitch if you don't believe me:cool:

Hanso, I was around at mitch house the weekend after the dyno run, the bike sounds great, that's one nice bike he has built.
I am not looking for the performance so much as a good sound and tune, the problem is finding Roadsters with aftermarket exhausts to listen too.
My plan is only exhaust, PCV, a tune and a dyno fine tune and that it for me.
The fellow who did Mitch dyno tune suggested at least a K&N stock air filter replacement or under tank pod air filter so am considering this.

Yeah just tell him that you heard mine and it sounds even better, especilly at 7,000 in first with front end of the ground changing into second, and besides his just a copy of mine and I Asked Sam to put restricter plates in his which he was happy to do cos the black bike can't handle the extra power like the Red ones
On a more serious note-
I will tell you now don't waste your time with anything less than the three K&N set up, the under seat is still to restrictive, the under tank ends up sucking Hot air believe me most guys that went the other ways ended up spending more money and went the three K&N's under the Bearclaw and for heaven sake remove your Secondaries you will love it, it smoioths the bottom end superbly. If you want a nice Rumble and a very good finnish the Staintunes win hands down the Jardines would always be my last choice due to what is a cheap and tacky finnish and they are just too loud with out the quality sound, just a thought are the muffler mounts on the roadster similar to Mitches Std, can you put the older style Staintune mufflers on you might need to make a couple of small brackets to suit and then you would really have a great sound not that much different to Mitches as the headers only refine the sound and don't really make them louder not to mention make the bike preform better, more midrange etc
Oh and I am going for the Dobeck - easy to use don't need Dyno does all you need to do once you have a TuneECU tune in there, just refine the fuel, mind you I am running a cross between a Tune for the Predator Exhaust and the higher RPM tune Mitch gave me and it is running like a dream not to mention returning ecellent fuel economy on highway, now if I could just keep the front down round town:rolleyes:
