Will it ever make production?

Hi guys. Been away for a bit. Not really all that "into" the biking scene anymore. Focusing on my Bully dogs quite a bit and working on establishing a breeding program. Contemplating retirement in New Mexico hopefully rather soon. Also, working hard on fitness activities and weight loss; I'm down 37 pounds from my pix. My son has a great "six pack" and I'm in pursuit of same. At 62 I'm a graybeard, way past my prime, but I'm diligently trying to be a very fit one =)

The dear R3 spends a great deal of time under blankets and cover these days I'm afraid, although I do fire her up now and then. I AM still quite interested in the Air Ram widget if it ever reaches production. Carbon fiber would be attractive. Has any progress been made here Art, or are we still in R&D mode? If realistically priced I'd pop for one methinks:rolleyes:

All I have heard so far is they have found a company to make them. I have not heard of any availability dates as of yet. Art although is still allowed to log in cannot post. I know he tried to be a payed supporter but that has met with negative results. I know nothing of the conversations between the powers at be only what I heard from Art. Not hearing both sides it would be improper for me to voice my opinions on the forum so I will reserve them to myself. He is a paid supporter on the dot com site so I would go over there and pester/pose your questions to him. I must admit I have been reading more over here which is unusual but the .com site has been having to many gun/religous/politicing discussins verses motorcycle threads which is where my interest lies. At this time this site seems to have more of the post I am intersted in so here I prowl.

The seat is lowered in the front to help hold you in. The bike will try to wheelie when you shift at 150 mph. I use the Triumph seat with the driver backrest on mine to help hold me in. Even though your moving fast the torque when I shift into fifth gear is very strong. I am not sure how fast I am going as the needle is in the odometer then. These bikes are fast thats for sure. I have a little added boost to mine on top of the Carpenter goods inside. A little Project Bob,Art and I worked on :D

Does the Carpenter internals raise the red line because of the reduction in mass? How high can the redline be pushed up on these bikes? Safely. Please excuse my ignorance.

Last I heard, the Carpenter crew is ready to put the ram air unit into production, but they are not going to post information to this site simply because they are not permitted to nor have they been invited to do so.

Carpenter Racing is deeply in bed with Triumph corporate, so the reticence of ownership/management here to forgive or forget their BS with Art (IMFASTTOO) is much to the detriment of the membership.

Utter stupidity!!!:p In essence it's the same thing as telling the Triumph factory race team to go fork themselves.;)

I sorry you two (Warp and TP) are upset about Art. He should be able to post but may not be able to send pm's. He has been given at least three opportunities to follow the rules and (more importantly) act decent to others. Though the last infraction was for a violation regarding not being a paid advertiser, previously it was all attributed to his conduct on the forum. When he is turned loose in the Dark Side Forum watch out. What is puzzling is that I have heard he is a decent guy but for some reason when behind the keyboard (at least on this site) he has had not been on his bestest.... So unfortuneately is comes down to losing him or losing several other members.
