I find it interesting that we talk about the triple K&N conversion, but I can't seem to find a good write up on the process. Of course, it seems pretty straight forward;
- Remove Seat
- Lift tank
- Remove all existing ducting
- Create new storage box under seat (fill)
- Install K&N RU-2780's on to Throttle bodies (x3)
- Install PCV K&N 62-1340
- Install Air Temp Sensor into K&N 62-1340 - locate in area near throttle bodies
- Do 12 minute tune (until you get a download, then download to ECM)
- Optional - relocate catch can to new location?
- Reinstall bear claw (no cutting necessary)
