I left mine in the empty box no issues, strap off to frame right there is one option, or run to ram air and install in it, i dont think this sensor has caused any issues that im aware of
There is alot of information/discussion about these 3 sensors on the site, some very colorful about what they actually do and how they work. Some differences of opinions ill just say.
Alright, coming back to correct my own ignorance - funny bit of engineering on Triumph's end as the Rocket (maybe just the Touring? not sure) has two MAP sensors. The one up by the throttles is the absolute pressure sensor, and the one surface-mounted to the airbox under the seat is the ambient pressure sensor, which was leading to my confusion.
When you get your Ramair it'll have instructions and pictures its pretty simple. If for some reason you don't get instructions there are some floating around the Internet.
