As a newish owner I've recently had to do my first rear wheel removal. A combination of the manual lift sold on ebay(UK), a standard trolley jack and a few lumps of wood did the job, but I've got to admit it didn't feel terribly safe.

This lift looks like a very good idea for those of us who don't want to / can't / don't trust our engineering skills to make up our own brackets - a standard hydraulic lift with a purpose made bracket for the R3. Not cheap though.

What's the wheel kit option?

Can't see anything on the site, but I'm guessing it's some kind of castor wheel kit that fits to the stand so you can move the stand and bike around when the bike's lifted.

Do they sell just the bracket? I couldn't find it on the site. Probably not, since they won't move many lifts that way. :? :? :?

Would I be able to use that as an option for leaving my bike off the ground and save my tires while I'm out of the country for extended periods???

I had something like that, but let me tell you-the Rock is rear heavy-by more than you would think.

To just cradle it under the engine MAY NOT enough...
