3xK&N + cut BC - done!

I simply moved the overflow bottle to under the seat where the old filter was. Found that space filled up with water too easily and too small for useful storage, although I keep my spare house keys in there (shhh) and the Dobeck lives there in a water tight container (zip bag!!!!).

All I did was awap the overflow bottle hoses over and it reaches there easily and the short one pokes into the left tin (will extend it when I get to it). The bottle sits nicely in there is stays upright even without 'padding'. Couldn't see the point of spending $60+ on a metal bottle that wouldn't be seen anyway. This cost exactly $0 and took around 3 minutes to do.

I moved it mainly because, with the filters angled the same as you have to angle the back one, the front one was resting so close to it I thought it might have reduced the air flow - probably didn't, but now they all strand clear and I love the look when I take the claw off.

Have now ridden in rain and the bike has been standing hours in rain. No worries captains, all is well.

Drove in pissing rain today. Have never got that wet in such a short period of time ever, not even when bathing. Filters and wraps still holding up :)

Prefilters

I've been using the same covers on my Yamaha wave runner for years. A must for jumping waves. I can hose down the engine and have tried to get it to suck in water while it's running. Short of sinking your bike they'll keep the water out. I'll definitely buy them when I get the filters for my Roadster.
