Not so fast on the valve settings rookie, not as perfect as i said, mine were too loose. Konrad found my measurements to be flawed, the angle of the feeler gauge to the bucket is critical and definitely changes the value of the clearance I learned today, a strait feeler gauge is not perfect for this job as a short curved tip is better, after a bit of back and forth, hashing out how we do or feel for this adjustment, he was right as his technique proved to be accurate and mine not, but we got on same page ( i got on his page) and we came up with same clearances after each doing them taking turns not sharing #s, made needed changes and i have ordered 5 shims to wrap up valve lash settings. We were suppose to set intake center lines today but i a little corrective action was required first.
