How close to Frio are you. I can head out tomorrow and we'll have another extra day to rest or ride. 832 877 9087 cell.

Thanks for offering man but I just saw your post at 9pm!!

I decided this morning to make a visit to Big Bend National Park on Monday and then double back to the Pecan Farm on Tuesday.

Day 6: KSU 10am , a tad late due to a big breakfast and route planning at Denny’s in Italy.
Ran down rt35 then west on track 183.
Missed the turnoff to try 190 somehow and lost 1/2 hour or more recovering my westerly Route.

Blasted 75mph on 190 for many, many hours with almost no traffic.
Had two deer step onto the road but the Jardines and Denali horn cleared the way.
Tons of dead ones around Eldorado too.

Got a free refreshing shower at 4pm.

Hit Interstate 10 at sunset and blasted 90-100mph for a final push to my hotel (posted limit is 80 with an almost perfect surface = heaven on earth) LoL

KSD 9pm after BBQ dinner in Fort Stockton. 460 hot miles today...

Thanks for the kind words and offer Sonny!!

I set up Google Maps timeline but unfortunately you can’t share it or see a complete trip map so here are some screen shots from each day

Tuesday is not quite accurate and you can see my two mistakes on days 5&6 (west sometimes = northwest!).

We both had rear brakes overheat today. High temps, extremely curvy roads, and both of us like to trail brake the rear through tight turns.

To give you an idea of the road, I datalogged almost the whole Coronado Trail, 90+ miles of WTF amazing road, and speeds ranged from 15mph to 109mph (wasn't bombing down the straight sections). That 15mph, wasn't because I was just chilling, it's all I could do through the turn, it's that tight...

Actually touched down a peg, and that's saying something as the rear is 1.5" higher than stock, and the bottom of my pegs are 1 inch+ above the roadster stock feeler, so touching means I was way beyond where a stock roadster will drag exhaust can. Surprised the bejesus out of me.
