It meets Euro 4, it'll be here until probably 2019. It's almost a certainty it doesn't meet Euro 5, slated to go into effect in 2020.
2019 also lines up with the 15 year anniversary of it's release. Think anniversary edition, Triumph LOVE cosmetic "special editions" they can mark up and make extra profit on, with no actual mechanical changes. I can think of at least 6 "Special Editions" within 3 seconds: 955i Centennial Edition, D675 Special Edition, the Rocket X, Speed Triple has like 4-5 special editions and now the Street Triple Rx.
That said, Triumph espouse "Go your own way", but, they are like every other company. The bottom line is the profitability, and the moment it stops being in the black, expect it to end, with no warning or fanfare, just gone. Its how mama T has ended 3 great bikes now.
