2017 Roadster? (no more two lines, pls!)

Black with yellow stripes is the ducks guts!! Cannot better that color scheme.

If you talk to your local dealer, he will be able to get you an earlier year closeout model for thousands off the listed MSRP, and I think Triumph is offering hundreds of dollars in accessories as a bonus. I did this early last year and got a new "0" miles 2014 (red striped, which is the fastest) model for $12,900 plus $800 in accessories, plus some dealers offer good discounts on anything from Triumph for as long as you own the bike.

That there is a great deal - way better than the $14K out the door I paid for a 0 mile 2012 R3R back in 2012!

It was a great deal. But keep in mind it was a 2014 leftover bought in January 2015. Triumph seems to offer good deals and incentives to move previous model year bikes. OH, and you must be prepared to talk smack and NEVER except the price the Dealer quotes for a bike (or any vehicle for sale).

I be hip to the requisite haggle purchasing any vehicle, Amigo!
With almost NO model differences year to year, me thinks you have a great system going.
Having ABS was absolute for me and a 2012 R3R was necessary for that.
For my next Rocket, I shall do as you do! Do-Do?

What would be the best way to find older model with brand new condition?
Local dealers can locate it in anywhere in the Srates and send it over?

Really!! That's good to know. 1st model came in 2010. I wonder if 2010-2016 models are all same??? If so, very surprising!

Nope . . . 2012 on have ABS and I believe there were some ECU change(s) after the 2012 model.
Someone around here knows the dope - perhaps they shall pipe up.

2010 on with ABS here in Oz and I think most places it came with the new Roadster. Only change I know of from early 2010-2012 models and later is that the later have changed their base tune in the ECU to de-restrict engine in first 3 gears and slight changes to instrumentation /ECU code matching that prevent the use of the later base tune on the earlier 2010-2012 roadsters as @HansO discovered when he was dropping a tune into my 2010 Roadster which has an Australian Compliance plate dated Dec 2009.
