I'm pretty sure a 2017 model would come out in 2017...pretty much in keeping with Triumph's tradition of releasing models in the year that they produce them...your welcome
I would expect to start seeing some '17 models showing up on showroom floors around July this year. Obviously these will have a 2016 build date. Happens every year. No manufacturer keeps making the current model right up to the end of each year and, depending on supply (and sometimes demand) will release the new ones early. That means also that with some models the 2017s won't start to be seen until 2017.

Btw, can anybody tell me if there is any changes over '14, '15, and '16 models in terms of features and technical stuff. Or exactly the same? I may go for the used one if the spec/features are exactly the same....

If you talk to your local dealer, he will be able to get you an earlier year closeout model for thousands off the listed MSRP, and I think Triumph is offering hundreds of dollars in accessories as a bonus. I did this early last year and got a new "0" miles 2014 (red striped, which is the fastest) model for $12,900 plus $800 in accessories, plus some dealers offer good discounts on anything from Triumph for as long as you own the bike.
