2013 popping out of gear

Bought some gasket material and this week my wife will cut it out for me, she is a scrapbooker so she will definitely do a better job than I would. 4 hour job turning into 30. I should not have a problem if the spring ever breaks again.
Making gaskets isn't really that hard. With proper gasket material and a very small ball peen hammer I've made a lot of gaskets before silicone was readily available. I once tapped out a gasket for the front cover on an 8V71 Detroit diesel underground in the shop. Wrong gasket came in and rather than wait for another (underground you can't simply push equipment outside the door) tap tap tap and voila... I bet you she taps it out in less than 15 minutes...

What's her hourly rate... lol :)

Could not have said it better.
I have made many of gaskets out of the card board from the transmission gasket kit. The ball peen hammer also makes a mark that can then be cut out.

Watched a video on you tube last night and I did not realize that the chrome coolant tube just pulls out of the bike and has an o ring on it. Makes sense, I thought triumph lost their mind making it so hard to get that cover on and off. Since I "altered" mine now I am waiting for parts, ordered a new coolant tube, o ring and coolant hose. I guess it will be July before this bike is up and going. Good new is I got the clutch cover on last night and the clutch adjusted.

It is fixed, went for a ride and had no problems. Got home and had 1 drop of coolant on the garage floor but it was the water pump hose, tightened the clamp and that should be it. I pieced together the coolant hose I cut and next time I change the coolant I will put the new coolant tube and hose on. Who knows how long it will take to get here but it does not matter now. Thank you very much to everyone for their help and previous writeups on this. I have bought some new tools I needed and gained some experience. Most of all no bolts left over, that might be a first.

Order a set of samco hoses. Cheaper than factory and guaranteed for life! Make sure to get their hose clamps too, they are the best hose clamps I have ever seen!
