YEP Ive tried most of the CT bikes Ive run into and of course my own bike with CF wheels and CT rear and never road a bike with a CT that handled as well as the MC tired bikes and I get around 10,000 miles from the MC tires and have no complaints Ill take the better handling over a longer lasting CT they dont work well on our twisty tight eneven roads so no contest the few dollars you think your saving are not worth f+++king up the handling Ill spend the extra few dollars for the sweet handling MC tire

You just dont know how to ride a bike with a car tire

At 10k per rear I'm more concerned he's got the French market restrictor plate installed.

I've never gotten much more than 3k miles out of any mc tire on the rear of any of my bikes. I'm almost at 3000miles on my R3R and the back tire is about shot. Going to give darkside a shot.

Maybe you should go back and read what I wrote again because you missed out. Yes we do ride a lot of miles but that is because I enjoy the hell out of riding. I do have the choice of driving a car to work or my bike, Prefer the bike. The Harley is a toy but the Rocket is built to take a lot of miles at least that is my prospective. 99.99% of my riding is done on flat straight roads so after many hours of researching the pros and cons of running a car tire we switched. Never read anything about a car tire blowing out on a bike.

AND thats riding with my sportbike buddies and they are all ex-racers but you have to be an efficient rider and not a burnout artist

lol w/e man, you dont get 10k on a metzler pushing it.

Just so there is NO confusion, I am saying you are lying about getting 10k on a Metzler while riding hard.

You're now officially in the "anything you say is bull****" crowd.

Riding on all those straight roads makes it easier to put up with a CT but they suck riding on our roads

There is no direct correlation in your conclusion, on each occasion just use judicious consideration based on your and other's experience, technical knowledge, character, personality flaws and 'chutzpah' in future.
That's a useful maxim for all persons' opinions and statements including our own.
